Boogie Boarding: Porth Oer Wind Direction: off-shore Wind Stength: force 4 Surf / Sea State: Clean, 3-4ft faces Air Temperature: warm Sea Temperature: warm Weather: clearing skies. Max Speed: Distance Covered:
After the crap session at hells mouth, we spun around the peninsula to
Whistling Sands.
Praise the LORDS!! It was soooo much better. We got suited and booted, got
in the water and were greeted by beautiful clean waves! I managed a few
rides that seemed to go on..and..on.. and on, absolutly fantastic! As high
tide approched the waves got bigger.. probably 5ft faces, and the rides got
better. There were only about 6 people out and it was such a fantastic
session!
The waves just seemed to linger and linger before they broke , as they were
held up by such a strong off shore wind! There were even tubes
forming....although I didn't manage to get one!
One of the best sessions I've had in a long long time!
